Fashion and creativity have always been a part of my story. I studied biology in college, but deep down I always carried the dream of becoming a fashion designer. After graduating, that passion resurfaced stronger than ever, and I began looking for ways to merge my scientific background with my love for fashion, design, and accessories. At the same time, I had already been part of the rave community for over a decade, and I knew I wanted my work to reflect the energy, love, and artistry that the scene had given me.

 

That’s how Disco Thrift was born—a vision to combine sustainability with self-expression. I realized I could use thrifted clothing as my canvas, giving pre-loved pieces new life while cutting back on the waste and harm created by fast fashion. Scraps and fabrics that couldn’t be turned into clothes found new purpose as pillows, stuffing, or were donated to shelters, ensuring that nothing went to waste. For me, this is bigger than fashion—it’s about responsibility, creativity, and giving back.

 

My mission is to help guide the rave and festival community away from one-time-use clothing and toward a culture of recycling, upcycling, and intentional style. Whether it’s creating a one-of-a-kind custom outfit from old pieces, helping someone trade in their clothes for something fresh, or simply spreading awareness about sustainable fashion, my goal is to keep pushing for a future where self-expression doesn’t come at the expense of the planet. Disco Thrift is my way of weaving my love for science, fashion, and rave culture into something that truly makes an impact.
